Binion’s in downtown Las Vegas will host the inaugural Women in Poker Hall of Fame (WiPHOF) induction ceremony slated forr 11:00 AM on February 2, 2008. Four of poker’s most respected women - Barbara Enright, Susie Isaacs, Marsha Waggoner, and Linda Johnson - will become the charter inductees in the WiPHOF as a result of their many contributions to poker and a demonstrated talent to play the game.

Mike Sexton will serve as the Master of Ceremony for the event while Jan Fisher will be the feature speaker. Following the Induction Ceremony there will be a 2:00 PM $500 + $60 open buy-in tournament. Satellites for the tournament begin on February 1st in Binion’s poker room.

The public can attend the WiPHOF ceremonies and the freeroll poker tournament scheduled for Sunday, February 3rd at Noon by becoming a charter member of WiPHOF. Membership is $75.00 and includes a ticket to the Induction, a seat in the Sunday freeroll and a commemorative gift. FYI, 20% of all membership fees will be donated to the Breast Cancer Angels Foundation. Additional information available here.
