Reliable sources have told LUXE LIFE that troubled pop-princess Britney Spears has arrived in Vegas today (Thursday) as was originally predicted to attend the weekend concert by Black Eyed Peas star, Fergie at The Pearl in the Palms. Originally it was feared that a possible “major intervention” by her concerned parents and former-husband Kevin Federline would prevent the trip.
She has reportedly checked into the Wynn resort hotel after leaving Los Angeles where she allegedly fired her newest assistant over the OK magazine fiasco reported here earlier today.
Britney apparently arrived at Wynn with her bodyguard—and one insider tells me he has already been involved in a “punching incident” with an overzealous paparazzi photographer. Its not yet confirmed but it is believed the paparazzi trailed Britney’s SUV from Malibu over the I-15 when she drove in this morning.
She has both baby youngsters and a nanny with her apparently. It’s not the first time she has stayed at the swank resort. It was at Wynn’s nightclub TRYST less than a year ago that she made headlines after a wild-night on the town for taking off her clothes down to her underwear and having to wear one of the cocktail server uniforms as a cover-up.
LUXE LIFE will follow this developing story and any appearances she makes at TAO in the Venetian tonight or PURE at Caesars Palace tomorrow or Saturday. She is expected to open PURE’s new LAX nightclub at the Luxor on August 31 to kickoff its Memorial Day weekend festivities.
